Extra Life Gaming Event 2018

Check out our teams page!

I am not a gamer. I am better than that, I am a gamer mom! I also am a mom of a kid with a chronic illness who spends an awful lot of time at our local Children's Miracle Network hospital, Monroe Carroll Jr @ Vanderbilt. So, every year in November we partner with an organization called Extra Life. This is an organization of gamers who get together once a year to play games for 24 hours straight in order to raise money for their local childrens hospital.

If you are a gamer consider joining our team! This is what you need to dol

1. Join our team! Our team name is Kids Helping Kids, we have a modest goal of raising $200 this year.

2. Get ready for game day on Nov. 3! If you would like to participate at an in person event in your area, send me a message and I can help you with this. If you want to participate from your home in your PJ's with popcorn (like a sane person) then you simply start gaming on your favorite console, pc, or mobile game at noon on Nov.3.

      a. Share our (your) fundraising link on your social media throughout the 24 hr. period.
      b. Inform your followers about why you decided to help kids.
      c. Stream live, if you are able, so your followers can watch you rock out your favorite game.

These funds raised are unrestriced funds that go directly to the hospital. Anyone that knows anything about beaurocratic corporate systems knows that this is freaking awesome! Hospital admins can go out and purchase things like games, gaming systems, new chairs for the infusion rooms etc without a tremendous amount of hassle. This makes kids happy in some of the worst times of their lives.

Email me at dronesclarke@gmail.com if you have any questions. *peace and love*
